Love that stuff!

In another chapter of our fair shopping series, we’d like to introduce to you lovethatstuff.co.uk, an online shop for fair trade clothing, jewellery and homeware. Started in 2002 by Barb Wilson, lovethatstuff works to sell at affordable and fair prices, to pay a fair and mutually agreed price to its producers, to use eco-friendly materials and ensure workers have a democratic say in their work, as well as to promote and campaign for fair trade.

The products, which range from colourful woven fruitbaskets from Uganda, to beautiful Bolivian pillowcases, can also be purchased at the Brigthon Fair Trade Market every month and the Lewes Fair Trade Market five times a year. There is also a physical shop in the Brighton Marina.

The producers of the items are from all over the world, and lovethatstuff buys exclusively from WFTO (World Fair Trade Organisation registered cooperatives in Africa and South Asia, as well as from individuals in Mexico and  Guatemala through a BAFTS (British Association of Fair Trade Shops).
